General:
Utilize your expertise in developing and managing certification programs to provide strategic and operational management of the ESRI Certification Program. In this challenging role you will also be responsible for policies, procedures, and analysis of the program.
Department:
Educational Services - Content Department
Responsibilities:
- Guide and support the certification board in developing effective corporate strategic and operational plans for the program
- Maintain related policies and procedures and guide the board on areas for update and revision
- Work with certification vendors to develop, deploy, and publish all certification exams
- Develop and maintain superior and effective relationships with internal and external customers and suppliers
- Manage group in design, development, launch, and support of psychometrically sound and legally defensible certification exams
- Market the program’s requirements and benefits to multiple audiences and stakeholders
- Partner with the certification board and senior management to ensure program continues to meet the needs of ESRI
- Implement processes for access, scheduling, delivery, and tracking of the program including expirations and renewals
- Analyze and report on test and program results
Requirements:
- Earned B.A./B.S. degree relating to Education
- Five or more years of experience in technical education
- Three to five or more years of experience developing valid and reliable tests for technical audiences
- A minimum of three years of experience developing and managing certification programs; demonstrated experience from development to successful implementation
- Excellent written and verbal communication, listening, and consulting skills
- Ability to work effectively with teams and various levels of management; strong facilitation skills
- Excellent and demonstrated team building and management skills including demonstrated ability to coach and mentor staff through change initiatives, process enhancements, and career development
- Ability to communicate department objectives clearly and develop and implement strategy in alignment with business objectives
- Willingness to travel
Recommended Qualifications:
- Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements
- Knowledge of ESRI software products
- Demonstrated ability to implement, drive, and track projects in a deadline driven environment
